5 Options Blogs I really like

Lately, I’ve been investigating option strategies as a way to leverage my current portfolio. There are a few ways I could use options in my own trading. One way in which I’ve gained some valuable insight is by reading other people’s experience. I wanted to share 5 options blogs that I think are worth a read and an add to your rss reader.

1. My Trader’s Journal
I like the way Alex takes the reader through his put writing experiences. I’ve learned quite a bit from him during the short time I’ve know about mytrader’s journal.

2. Options Pundit
Options Pundit is flat out one of the best blogs for option traders. There’s a lot of good material, and I like reading his trading results.

3. Options Trading Blog
I’ve known of this blog only a short time, but I find Toni’s experiences to be useful.

4. Options Trading Beginner
Sounds like myself, actually for beginning a beginner OTB does an excellent job explaining core option trading concepts.

5. Option Trading - Akalwoo
I really like this blog because he posts his experiences. Another good options blog.

    Hi Jonathan,

    Thanks a lot!
I’m very happy that my simple blog can become one of the option blogs that you like. :)
Anyway, I like your blog too.

    Dear Jonathan,

Thanks for including OptionPundit in the bloglist you like. It’s an honour and is very pleasing for being recognized for the passion we share. Blogging is hard stuff and people like yourself pioneer frank writing. I am looking forward to reading your blog often, develop wider perspective, and learn from experience and trades to share with OP readers.

    Profitable trading,
    OP

    Yo Jonathan,

Thanks for compliment. I was surprise. I get to know it when i check on technorati. I still have alot more to learn in option. Just a few days ago, my learning curve on option shoot up to the sky. All thanks to Ron and Bill from OptionUniversity. Well im going to share some nice information and knowledge in the coming week.

By the way im not a pure option trader. Im a mixture of Technical Analysis + option strategy. I daytrade and scalp too. Just that i make use of option as a leverage tool. After learning from the pros, i will put up more strategy like covered call, iron condor and also my love strangle/straddle.

Once again thankful that you like my site. You are doing pretty well on your site too =)

Cheers and Have a happy week,
    lawrence

    Hi Jonathan :

    Really flattered by your compliments.

Frankly speaking, you would see lots of my trades as paper trades because I’m really under-capitalized to trade the more expensive options (those with high IV) at the moment. But that doesn’t discourage me from keep refining my skills and applying them in paper trading and share these experiences with fellow options traders to help them. I know its tough for beginner options trader to break through in this area without some proper guidance as I have experienced it first-hand myself.

Keep up your good work too.

    Yours Truly,

    Tony Chai
