A Trade A Day

Tuesday was a disappointment. I haven’t felt this let down since I was 17, sitting in the back of Dad’s car with Miss Mary what’s her name. Why can’t the Fed leave well enough alone. I wanted carnage. I wanted to see the market spiral into oblivion.

Too bad the Fed doesn’t care what I want. So, I’m flat as of Tuesday. I imagine we’ll bounce from here. Most of the indexes are flashing a fairly distinctive hammer. Not that they’re really bouncing off any specific area of support. It’s more a matter of selling being exhausted. It should be interesting to see what kind of retracement we get. That will dictate what I trade over the next few weeks.

I will say this though that I expect to be short again in a big way. I still feel like there’s room to drop. Only a hunch on my part. I should have some trades for the blog over the next couple of days.

Sitting here watching futures trade when I should be writing a post for tomorrow. Thought this demotivator would be appropriate. Check out Despair.com for more.

We’ve got a lot farther to drop. Maybe not today or tomorrow, but the US economy has some serious challenges ahead. Namely, stagflation, and a shift from dollars to euros as the world’s reserve currency. I haven’t completely wrapped my mind around all the implications of the reserve currency issure, but I think it’s one of the more serious challenges we’ll need to get through.

I’m up about three million in three days. How did I do it? You’re not going to believe this. I have received several emails from several different international lotteries from all over the world. South Africa, Spain, and Nigeria just to name a few.

I can’t believe my good fortune. If I count the emails up, I think I’ve won a little over three million dollars. I don’t remember entering an international lottery, let alone 5 or 6, but I guess I should just count my blessings

I’m anticipating more downside movement, but I came across a couple of long opportunities that I think are worth a look.

There’s not a lot for me on either side of the market. Any long trades I have are being closely monitored for the faintest sign of weakness. Shorts are being held for a bit longer.

Not much else going on. I am predominately sitting on my hands. VRUS and FSLR have setup nicely.
