Additions To My Blogroll

I’m making some over due additions to the blog roll.

First up is Thewild1. You can read the wild1’s work at www.thewildinvestor.com. That’s alot of W’s. This is an investment blog. One in which I frequent daily.

Next I am adding Eliott Wave and Fibonacci Charts at just-charts.blogspot.com. Can’t argue with that. I love charts and there some good ones to be found here.

You have to check out http://www.billakanodoodahs.com/. I enjoy reading Bill’s insight into trading. I’m also a big fan of his posts on the economy and politics.

Finally I am adding High Probability Trading. HPT is famous for his Blow Up Video. Which is no longer available. I still like reading his blog. Lots of interesting videos, charts and observations

Managing my blogroll Part II.

In Part II of this infinite part series, I am adding three more blogs to my blogroll. I read these blogs regularly and I have found their content to be relevant and profitable.

Clever Dude is a personal finance blog that I have found extremely useful. I admire his determination to get out of credit card debt, and his posts are very original. I highly recommend the blog.

Next blog to be added is Dividends Matter. I mentioned this blog yesterday in my Link Love Friday post. The blog deserves an add to my blogroll and your rss feed. I am a technician, but average joe at Dividends Matter is a good fundamental analyst and he does a really good job. I think his posts are always relevant which is why I read his blog. My long term portfolio has certainly benefited from his analysis.

Final blog of to be added this time around is Stock Rake. I like this blog because it details the experiences of another trader. I find immense support and encouragement in other traders. I especially enjoy his “what worked” and “what sucked” posts. He also posts a couple times a day.

Managing my Blogroll

I’ve put this off for a long time, but networking is critical to the success of a blog. I’m in the process of adding sites to my blogroll. The thing is, I want to add sites that I actually read. Like most of us, I’m pressed for time. I don’t want to waste your time with a list of blogs just to have one.

So, for the foreseeable future I’ll be adding blogs that I think are relevant, interesting, and/or just cool. I’ll also see if I can separate them by some kind of category.

To start things off, I’m adding stocktradingtogo.com. STTG has daily articles about trading and various financial topics as well as site reviews. I check this one daily. Blain does a good job updating the blog consistently and his articles are always interesting. His stock market education section is well developed and contains a slew of useful articles for the new investor as well as the more experienced trader who just needs a reference.

Definitely a favorite blog of mine is afraidtotrade.com. Corey’s blog is one of my daily stops. Market commentary is insightful. His articles about trading and fear are particularly useful to me. Corey’s strategies and the use of momentum is intriguing to say the least. I’ve so far resisted the temptation to add them to my own, but if you’re interested in using MACD and momentum check out Corey’s blog.

Toni Hansen is a well known technical analyst and stock market educator. Several years ago, I was a subscriber to Trading from Mainstreet and it changed my trading. Trading is not a sure thing by any means. Every day is a battle not only with the market, but your own emotions. I credit Toni and TFMS with introducing me to consistency. Ah, wonderful consistency. It’s a nice place to be. I still have ups and downs for sure, but I’ve finally learned how to be consistent. Toni has a blog that I visit daily. Her market commentary is exceptional in its clarity. I swear if I only started out traded phoenix and avalanches…if you are new or just need a new perspective, go visit Toni’s blog.

Ok, three’s enough for this morning, I need to start my prep for today’s session. Although I genuinely don’t trade on Friday’s, I still need to show up. If you want me to check out your blog and be added to my blogroll, just post a comment. Thanks!
